Why is there no FSI Cache version available for FSI Server 2016 and 2018?

As of FSI Server 2016, we will not develop FSI Cache further. Therefore, we recommend to use free open source software solutions such as the Varnish Cache or Apache Traffic Server.

We have changed a lot in the internal process of FSI Server which makes it now even more compatible with those cache proxy servers mentioned.
